Safety & Equipment
- The go-karts have an adjustable seat, height-adjustable steering wheel and adjustable pedals.
- They are fitted with a seat belt and roll bar.
- All drivers must wear a balaclava (for hygiene reasons), a full-face helmet and a neck protector.
- There are two speed control systems: an automatic system that tracks the go-karts on the track and reduces speed in the event of a stoppage or incident, and a second remote electronic speed control system operated manually by our staff.
- All Sodi go-karts comply with the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC, the NF S52-002 standard, and the F.F.S.A. and CIK-FIA safety regulations for leisure karting.
- Ages & kart types: The junior petrol go-karts are for children aged 5–14 with a minimum height of 1.2 m, and children over 14 can drive the adult go-karts (RT8). Kids' tickets are for 160cc or 200cc go-karts, while adult tickets are for 200cc go-karts. The two-seater go-kart may only be driven by an adult, with either an adult or a child as passenger.
- Extra amenities: free parking, a café with coffee/soft drinks/juices/light drinks for adults, an air-conditioned indoor area for those not driving, as well as coin-operated games and an outdoor area with a playground.
Event Schedule
- 1 Check-in & safety rules video (3 min)
- 2 Preparation – driver gear (approx. 10 min per group): helmets, neck protectors, seating in the karts and seat belt check.
- 3 Timed sessions: 3 (depending on total group size) 15-minute sessions, with 10 drivers per session.
- 4 Break / rest.
- 5 Grand final: standing start from the grid on the main straight, based on the best lap times of the top 10 drivers from the three qualifying sessions, followed by a 15-minute race. (by arrangement, on request)
- 6 Finish and medal ceremony for the top 3 finishers.
Exception for parties: the schedule is more flexible — simple driving sessions of 10 or 15 minutes each, with no grid start or race structure. If the parent/organiser would like the full race format (with qualifying, a final and medals), they will need to let us know in advance so we can confirm whether it can be arranged.
Arrival time & duration
- Participants should arrive at our venue no later than one hour before the scheduled driving time, to allow enough margin for preparation and any delays at check-in.
- There may be a gap of around 15 minutes between individual sessions/rounds, so that we can also serve our other customers.
- Once you're done, you're welcome to stay at our venue for as long as you like and enjoy the café and the rest of the Go Kart Center facilities.
Catering
- By arrangement, we organise pizza catering for participants.
- We need to know your catering requirements at least 7 days before the event, so we can secure the required quantities in time.
- Adult price: €8.50 per person, including pizza & a soft drink, hot drink or coffee.
- Kids' options: small pizza with juice, club sandwich with juice, or chicken nuggets with juice.
Booking – Deposit
- The booking is finalised upon payment of a deposit, once availability for your preferred date/time has been confirmed.
- The deposit is deducted from the total cost of the event.
- The deposit is non-refundable in the event of cancellation.
Participant details
- All participating drivers must register in the timing system (RaceFacer) or through our website ("Driver Registration" section) at least 2 days before the event, to avoid delays.
- For kids' parties, each child's parent must complete the free registration so that their place in the scheduled driving session is secured.
- Without this registration, the company reserves the right to refuse driving to the participant in question.
